Functioning
Inside the basket of the centrifuge the hydraulic lifting bottom moves vertically and rotates. The swarfs which are fed continuously through the inlet hopper, fall into the drum and press its walls. The mobile bottom programmed with preset cycles moves the swarfs upwards to the slot sieve where the coolant is separated from the swarfs. After a few lifting bottom cycles, the swarfs are carried over the upper edge of the drum and falls down through the discharge hopper. The liquid collected flows through an inner channel of the centrifuge and is gathered in a tank from which can be fed back for the production or pumped back for further treatments.
